Philosophy

Developing student growth in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man is the primary goal of New Castle Christian Academy. The athletic program is designed to give each student the opportunity to grow in these areas while developing discipline and sportsmanship through organized team sports. In an effort to produce a well-rounded athlete, each player will be instructed in the rules of the game, proper physical conditioning, teamwork, attitude, and work ethic. Middle school coaches are encouraged to play each player in every game.

DIAA (Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association)

New Castle Christian Academy is a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (which replaced DSSAA) and abides by all of the association’s rules and regulations for all sporting events.

Sportsmanship

To bring honor and glory to our Lord, good sportsmanship will be displayed by everyone in attendance at NCCA athletic events. Coaches, players, parents, and spectators are to show respect to each other, the opposing team, and officials at all games. Comments made are to be positive to encourage players, both our own Eagles and the opposing team, as well as the officials.
